主讲人简介：

Małgorzata Fabiszak is a Professor at the Faculty of English, Head of the Cognitive Linguistics Department. She teaches general linguistics, metaphor theory, multimodal analysis, discourse analysis, cognitive linguistics. Her research interests revolve around the topics of discursive construction of collective memory and collective identity as well as metaphorical conceptualisation of emotions.

讲座内容简介：

In this presentation, Małgorzata Fabiszak wants to introduce the audience to her country, her city and her university. Poland is a part of EU, Poznań is the 5th biggest city in Poland in terms of population size. It has many tourist attractions and is well situated to explore Central, Eastern and Northern Europe. Adam Mickiewicz University ranks third in Poland.

She will also talk about the structure of Adam Mickiewicz University and in particular about the Faculty of English: the leading centre for studying English in Poland. She will describe the Master and PhD Programme in Literature and Linguistics and present the research strengths of her Faculty.
